Fighter Justin Gaethje

Justin Gaethje is an American mixed martial artist, a two-time interim UFC Lightweight Champion, former BMF Champion, and former WSOF Lightweight Champion. Nickname: "The Highlight". One of the most spectacular fighters in UFC history: almost all of his fights in the league ended in knockouts and early victories, with the exception of one fight that ended by decision.

Born November 14, 1988 in Safford, Arizona, USA. He grew up in a family of miners: his father is of German descent, his mother is of Mexican descent. He was involved in wrestling since childhood. In high school, he twice became the Arizona state champion in his age group. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Humanities and Social Sciences from the University of Northern Colorado, where he went on to wrestle at the NCAA Division I level. He was inducted into the University of Northern Colorado Athletics Hall of Fame in June 2020.
